Mindful Owl Adventures introduces simple, science-based tools children can use in everyday life to feel calm, focused, and more in control of their emotions. Through Mindful Owl, families explore gentle, playful ways to pause, breathe, and move through life with greater awareness, kindness, and confidence.

The Heart and Love  Behind the Story

Inspired by a real owl who visited our backyard when my daughter was born, this story began as a simple bedtime ritual shared with my children.

Over time, it grew—shaped by real-life moments, challenges, and the calming tools we turned to for presence, peace, and clarity. Later, while working in classrooms, I saw that even very young children were feeling stress and overwhelm. They needed simple, supportive ways to slow down, feel safe, and understand their emotions.

What began as a story became something more—a gentle guide to help children, families, and educators connect more deeply with themselves and each other.

Through the story and guided practices, children learn how to:

  • Understand and move through big emotions with more ease
